OUR MISSION

Connecting people to God, one disciple at a time.

OUR VISION

A fellowship of imperfect believers, who, despite their differences, love and care for one another the way God intended.

OUR STRATEGY

To develop
one-on-one discipling relationships so that we may cultivate deeper connections with one another and Jesus Christ.

OUR CORE VALUES

Unity: Christ’s prayer for his church was unity. Yet, we come from all walks of life and acknowledge that God made us all unique. Despite our many differences, we hold fast to the oneness found in the love and grace of Jesus. – Galatians 3:28

Identity: Human beings are a loving God’s most prized possession. We are much more than our professions, accolades, or even mistakes of our past. First and foremost, we are children of the most high God. – Romans 8:14-17

Community: One mark of the early Church was the fellowship found in the community of believers. Early Christians put a premium on being together because there is power in it. Discipleship happens within the Body. The group can better meet the needs of the individual. We believe that one of Jesus’ greatest gifts to us is the community we find within his church. – Acts 2:42-47

Mission: The purpose of the Church is found in Jesus’ Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). It exists to share the Good News of the gospel with those who haven’t heard it and disciple them towards a life of obedience. At OneChurch, we believe all believers play pivotal parts in carrying out the Jesus mission. – Luke 15:4-7

Worship: We serve an awesome and mighty God who loves us beyond anything we can fully comprehend. Out of His intense love, he sent Jesus to die for us, while we were far from Him. He is worthy of all our praise and worship. – Psalm 100

Generosity: Love for God and His people manifests itself in action. This includes being good stewards of the Kingdom resources God has entrusted us with by giving to those who are less fortunate or in need. – 1 John 3:16-18

Compassion: Another mark of Jesus’ ministry was the compassion He showed toward the have-nots. It didn’t matter whether it was a leper, paralyzed person, adulterous woman, or some other ostracized group, a core piece of Jesus’ work was showing kindness and compassion to those who needed it most and OneChurch strives to do the same. – Matthew 8:1-3

Freedom: The things in the world that have the potential to enslave us are too numerous to count. Mountains of debt, addictions, mental health issues, and past traumas can all cause real issues in our lives and make us feel like we are suffocating. It is in Christ that we find true freedom from the things that hold us captive. – Luke 4:18-19

Growth: Like any relationship, the one we have with Jesus should be growing deeper. There is no end game in Christian discipleship and the destination is fluid. It is an ongoing work of the Holy Spirit making us more like Christ every day. -  Philippians 1:6

Practicality: Although Scripture is thousands of years old, God’s word is timeless and relevant in modern contexts. The Bible is like God’s textbook to us, and it contains everything we need to know about Christian living in the 21st century. – 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Authenticity:  With an identity secure in Jesus, there is no need to pretend to be something we are not. Jesus came to people as they were. The ground is level at the foot of the cross and no one should be expected to look or act a certain way to find their way to Jesus. He loved folks where they were, and, at OneChurch so do we. – Revelation 22:17
